Connecticut Lemon Law
Connecticut passed one of the first lemon laws in the country, and it still protects people who buy or lease a new vehicle when a covered defect cannot be fixed after a reasonable number of repair attempts, as long as the problem shows up within the first 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. If the car qualifies, you can get a refund or a replacement vehicle. Here is how it works in Connecticut.

Your car is presumed a lemon. Connecticut lets you claim a refund or a comparable replacement vehicle, and you can use the state Department of Consumer Protection arbitration program to get there.
